glyphwash

In your AI app

Wash text inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and other AI apps

glyphwash is also a connector, an MCP server, that AI apps can call. Add it once, then ask the assistant to run a text through glyphwash, including what it has just written for you. It's free, with no sign-up and no account to link.

Any other app

Any app that can add a remote MCP server works. Wherever it asks, give it these:

Name
glyphwash
Address
https://glyphwash.com/mcp
Transport
Streamable HTTP (sometimes called HTTP or remote)
Authentication
None

Then ask

Mention glyphwash, and the assistant calls it. It can wash text you paste or text it has just written.

  • Wash this with glyphwash: <your text>
  • Write a short update on our Q3 numbers, then run it through glyphwash.
  • Run the cover letter you just wrote through glyphwash in deep mode.

The washed text comes back with its checks and a link to the full report, where you can compare each passage with its original.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The connector is free like the site, with no sign-up, no account to link and no key to paste.

How long does a wash take?

Usually under a minute; a long text can take a few. If it isn't done within about 50 seconds, ask the assistant to get the washed text a little later.

What does the connector give the app?

Two tools: wash_text, which washes a text in Standard or Deep mode, and get_wash, which fetches a wash that was still running. Nothing else: it can't read your files, chats or anything you haven't asked it to wash.

Will the assistant change the washed text?

The connector asks it to give you the text exactly as it came back, because any rewording by an AI model can bring a watermark back. If it does reword it, copy the text from the full report instead.

What happens to the text?

The same as on the site: an open-weight model on glyphwash's own engine rewrites it, it isn't sent to any AI provider, and it's deleted 24 hours after the wash.
